You can still get Cheltenham Festival tickets

It is one of the biggest and best days of the racing calendar and tickets for Cheltenham Festival and Gold Cup day are still on sale for the 2025 races.

Luckily for racing fans ticket prices have been frozen for the 2025 festival and it means you can see top class horse racing for as little as £50.

Cheltenham Festival begins on 11 March and runs until 14 March in 2025.

The Gold Cup event will take place over four days starting with Champions Day, which is the chance to see current and future champions racing.

Style Day on the Wednesday is a chance to dress up in your finery, while St Patrick’s Thursday has one of the best atmosphere’s in horse racing as jockeys and horses compete to win the Prestbury Cup.

Finally the event ends with Gold Cup day, one of the most prestigious races in the world and one of the biggest days of racing in the UK calendar.

The cheapest tickets can be found in the Best Mate enclosure, which offers a lively atmosphere and views at the side of the race track. It costs £51 online but jumps to £63 on the day.

Gold Cup day is more expensive, with tickets starting from £75 for the Best Mate enclosure.

If you want a covered grandstand and views of the finish line the Tattersalls enclosure costs from £72 per day for the first three days and £94 on Gold Cup day. You can add the Guinness Grandstand to your Tattersalls ticket to extend where you can visit on the day. It costs from £48 to access the Guinness Grandstand.

For more access to all areas of the course you can buy a Club Enclosure ticket for £100 for the first three days and £131 for Gold Cup with discounts for group bookings.

When does Cheltenham 2026 go on sale?

Tickets for next year’s event are not yet on sale but they will be available as early as 20 March if last year’s sale is replicated this year.

Tickets for next year’s event usually go on sale shortly after the final races.

Ticket prices were frozen for 2025 but could increase for 2026. They will go on sale at the Jockey Club website.
