Cole Palmer voted as world’s sexiest footballer

He’s cold on the pitch, but apparently very hot off it.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jude Bellingham have been pipped to the top spot in a new survey to find the ‘UK’s sexiest footballer’.

While the likes of Ronaldo and Bellingham are viewed as the most marketable men within the sport, it seems they lack a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ possessed by a man from Manchester.

Of all the footballers on the planet, England and Chelsea star Cole Palmer is the sexiest of the lot, according to a survey conducted by Slotozilla.

The UK-based company quizzed 2,500 British adults over the matter – taking in factors such as physique, charisma and personal style.

The 22-year-old topped a poll ahead a few more obvious names, such as Jack Grealish, Declan Rice and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Palmer received 19 per cent of the overall vote, followed by Bellingham who received 17 per cent and Grealish who scored 15 per cent of the vote.

Al-Nassr star Ronaldo made his way on the list in 8th – having picked up six per cent of the votes.

City star Haaland is ninth in the voting, picking up just four per cent of votes.

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe finishes off the list picking up just two per cent of the votes.

Palmer will hope the boost to the confidence will help him rediscover his best form on the pitch after something of a dry spell.

While he overperformed for the Blues last season, helping them secure 6th place ahead of Newcastle United with his 22 goals and 11 assists, he has struggled to stand out for Enzo Maresca’s side since the turn of the year.

If you’re keen to catch a glimpse of the world’s sexiest footballer in action, Chelsea welcome Leicester City to Stamford Bridge at 2pm on Sunday 9th March.

Pop that in your calendar.
