Conor McGregor’s left hand is so powerful he may not be allowed to fight again until June 2016

Aldo knows all about it!

UFC 194 did a lot of damage to a lot of bodies.

Conor McGregor’s knock-out of Jose Aldo took all of 13 seconds to execute.

Following medical checks, however, the UFC’s undisputed featherweight champion could be suspended from fighting for six months.

The Nevada Athletic Commission released their extensive list of medical suspensions to MMA Fighting following the weekend’s fights.

McGregor knocked Aldo out with a hefty left cross. In doing so, and ending the fight, he may have sustained damage to his left wrist.

He must now submit himself for an x-ray on the wrist and, if damage is detected, will not be cleared to fight again until June 12, 2016.

McGregor joins new middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (left foot/ankle), Chris Weidman (both feet), Urijah Faber (left knee, right ankle, left thumb), and five other fighters in being provisionally suspended for six months.

These suspensions are often set on the lengthy side and many fighters usually return after scans return negative or after clearances from doctors.

John Kavanagh, McGregor’s coach, has already spoken about a possible April 2016 fight between the winner of the lightweight title fight, this Saturday, between Rafael dos Anjos and challenger Donald Cerrone.
