The footage is now out and it is up to the public to decide.
It was only a matter of time before a video of the second sparring session between Conor McGregor and former two-time welterweight world champion Paulie Malignaggi surfaced.
The Showtime pundit was called into McGregor’s camp to help him prepare for the August 26 bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Malignaggi was supposed to stick around longer but quit the camp after unflattering images of him looking second best against the UFC star came to light.
One image, which McGregor himself did not share, showed Malignaggi on the canvas and McGregor backing away. In response to that snap, the American claimed, ‘ This was a push down in sparring, post the whole video rounds 1 to 12.’
UFC president Dana White has now shared a couple of clips that he recorded during that second Las Vegas session. As a promoter of the fight himself, the clips may be somewhat skewed in McGregor’s favour but the Dubliner does look very good in them both.

White was not finished there. Soon after he posted another clip from the session and it was the one that everyone wanted to see.
It certainly looks as though Malignaggi, under some pressure from a McGregor flurry, loses the run of his footwork and falls. There is no clear push from ‘The Notorious’.

Of course that has not silenced Malignaggi, who was quite active on social media in response to the release of the clips.
What I been saying still holds true, he gets 11 and 12 of which he shows footage and the "knockdown" is right hand draggin me down. 36 min.

Watch the clips again and decide for yourself.
