It’s happening people – let’s just hope no pesky injuries spoil our fun this time.
Conor McGregor will face Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 194 in Las Vegas on December 12. Stick it in the diary.
The Notorious will face the Brazilian in a title unification bout at the MGM Grand having won the interim belt against Chad Mendes in July.
This puts an end to rumours that McGregor was lined up to headline a bout at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium later this year.
UFC President Dana White has also revealed that Ronda Rousey will not feature on the card despite claims made by her former manager Tito Ortiz.
“To show you that Tito Ortiz has no idea what he’s talking about, we’re not even doing the fight in Dallas, Texas,” White told UFC.com on Monday.
“The fight is going to be in Las Vegas at the MGM. Just to show you that Tito is absolutely talking out of his ass.”
