Jurgen Klopp’s final year in charge of Borussia Dortmund almost ended in disaster as the club flirted with relegation for most of the campaign.
But in the end it all worked out fine as the German guided the former champions to 7th in the table.
Klopp announced he was quitting the club towards the end of the season and his successor was revealed as Thomas Tuchel.
Klopp, of course, is now at Liverpool and gathered the first win of his new tenure with a 1-0 victory against Bourenmouth. His successor at the Westfalenstadion enjoyed a 7-1 win over Paderborn.
That scoreline means Dortmund have now scored a frankly shocking amount of goals in their games so far this season.
It’s a tally that would make any Liverpool fan weep with envy.
Borussia Dortmund have now scored 61 goals this season in just 19 games.

The man behind the majority of the goals is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has scored 13 in just 10 games, while the club have scored 29 goals in just 11 games so far in this year’s Bundesliga.
The best goal of the night may have been this trike from ex-Manchester United man Shinji Kagawa.

Although things might be going in the right direction, if the Reds could just get a fit striker on the field
