Cristiano Ronaldo’s future may well lie in Major League Soccer, the Real Madrid player has admitted.
The former Manchester United forward has been linked with a move to David Beckham’s team in Miami, but the franchise cannot join MLS until a proposed stadium is approved.
However Ronaldo is seemingly open to a move Stateside towards the end of his career.
Ronaldo told GQ there is “a good chance” that he ends up in the United States in the future.
“You never know, but it’s something interesting,” he added.

The 30-year-old is under contract with Madrid until the summer of 2018, by which time he may be ready to leave Europe.
