Dana White has been much more open to suggestions in recent weeks.
Conor McGregor requested a change to the UFC 196 poster and he got his wish.
And it sounds as though Jose Aldo is the latest fighter to benefit from the UFC president’s generosity, with White telling ESPN Brazil he’s in talks with Aldo to put together his next fight.
“I love Jose. I’ll call him today [Wednesday] and we’ll talk to decide who’s next for him,” said White, before confirming that the Brazilian’s next fight would be a title fight.
Aldo recently gave the promotion an ultimatum in which he stated that the only fight that he would accept would be a title fight, or a rematch with Conor McGregor.
But with The Notorious insisting he can defend the featherweight and lightweight titles simultaneously – and the promotion’s desire to stage a blockbuster UFC 200 – White’s latest comments could pave the way for McGregor v Aldo part two.
