He has been training… but he needs to keep it up.
Jurgen Klopp said that Daniel Sturridge’s progress has gone well over the last four days, but that they need to see more from the Liverpool striker before deciding if it’s right to put him back in the team.
The English frontman has been injured for the last eight and a half years (roughly) and, this season in particular, he has returned seemingly every month only to be ruled out again.
On Friday, Klopp gave another update.

But the reaction just smacked of desperate supporters crying out for a striker and fed up being killed by the hope.
These men have given up.
@LFC @DanielSturridge you could have just hash-tagged that with #stillfucked and not bothered with a weblink

Over it.
@LFC @DanielSturridge Any update on Rues & Gotze? Bit bored of Daniel's jelly legs

We’d all be great footballers if we had new legs.
@LFC @DanielSturridge want him fit so bad, but this is ridiculous. And Klopp looks fed up with it all. He's quality needs new legs 😭😭
