Former Manchester United manager David Moyes seems ready to end his Premier League exile by taking over at Aston Villa.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood is under pressure after a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea left the Midlands club in the relegation zone, four points from safety.
And Moyes, who is currently struggling with Real Sociedad in Spain, is thought to see Villa as the perfect opportunity to restore his reputation in England.
According to the Daily Star, the Scot is ready to cut short his time in Spain if Villa decide to part ways with Sherwood.
The Villans are without a league win since the opening day of the season, and have yet to pick up a victory at home in the top flight this campaign.
Real Sociedad, meanwhile, are just one place and one point outside the relegation places in La Liga.
