The tweet was sent at half-time on Monday evening, during Arsenal’s 0-0 stalemate with Liverpool. Cech was resolute for the home side behind a patched defence of Calum Chambers and Gabriel Paulista.
Joking aside, it was a nice act of fraternal generosity from De Gea. And it was good to see him use his thumbs for something other than twiddling impatiently in the Old Trafford stands.
