Good lord, Yoel Romero is a scary human being.
His air of invincibility may have been punctured by his UFC 213 defeat to Robert Whittaker on Saturday night but that loss doesn’t make him any less terrifying, let’s be honest.
The owner of one of the most imposing physiques on the entire UFC roster, Romero is capable of athletic feats that few others are and the fact that he’s 40 years old only makes his abilities more impressive.
‘The Soldier of God’ experienced only his second career defeat when Whittaker edged a unanimous decision in the evening’s main event.
He may be 40 but you would bet on Romero returning to action because he’s never been as motivated to get his hands on the current UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping.
The behaviour of ‘The Count’, who was watching the fight from Octagonside, irked Romero and several fans understand why.

Bisping was shown ripping up what appeared to be a miniature Cuban flag and tossing it disdainfully at Romero.
MMA Fighting reporter Ariel Helwani courageously asked Romero what he made of the Brit’s actions during the post-fight press conference.
And the proud Cuban’s reaction has chilled the MMA community to the core.
If looks could kill…

Urge you to watch the clip of Romero talking about Bisping ripping (what appeared to be) the Cuban flag. Intense is putting it mildly.
