Didier Drogba is having a lot of fun over in Montreal.
The former Chelsea striker famously netted a hat-trick on his full debut in MLS, and he’s been at it again in Montreal Impact’s match against DC United.
Drogba scored a quickfire brace, finding the net twice inside the opening 12 minutes, and the two goals showed the qualities that helped the Ivorian make a name for himself in England.
First there was a punishing long-range free-kick…

And then a moment of pure individuality which left the opposition defenders well and truly embarrassed.

When rival players are reacting like this, you know you’re on to a good thing. No wonder the Impact fans gave him a hero’s welcome.
