England stand on the cusp of an Ashes series victory after bowling Australia out for just 60 runs in the morning session at Trent Bridge.
Having won the toss and put the Aussies in to bat, the England bowlers – led by Stuart Broad – ripped through the top order, making light work of the tourists’ disastrous batting.
Broad began by seeing off Chris Rogers for the first duck of his Test career, edging into the hands of Cook at first slip. Then Steve Smith fell to Broad, with just ten runs on the board. It was already an entertaining start…

Within a matter of minutes, a further four batsmen were back in the pavilion as Broad recorded one of the fastest five-wicket hauls in Test cricket history.
The most enjoyable wicket saw off Adam Voges – largely due to worldie of a catch from Ben Stokes that left Broad gobsmacked…
By this point, Aussie captain Michael Clarke was the leading run scorer, reaching the dizzying heights of double figures before being taken for 10.
After making the Nottingham crowd wait a good three overs for another wicket, Steven Finn joined in too, bowling Peter Nevill.
Ashes – I've haven't enjoyed myself so much since my second divorce went through.

Amazingly, by the time Australia reached 50, nine wickets were down. It had reached the point where Australian runs were being greeted with ironic cheers by the English crowd.
Australia all out for 60. Broad gets the last wicket and has figures of 8 – 15. Take a bow Broady #ENGvAUS https://t.co/LVO3ddIHtF

Broad claimed the last wicket of Nathan Lyon to finish with 8 wickets for just 15 runs.
And we thought we’d miss Jimmy Anderson.
