It almost went very wrong for Bury on their return to the third tier of English football.
As the game entered its closing stages with the scored level at 0-0, a player for the League 1 club put the ball out of play for an injury.
Opponents Doncaster tried to give the ball back, only for Harry Forrester to do this.

Things could have got ugly after the accidental lob, but common sense prevailed and the home side allowed Bury’s Leon Clarke to run through and tie things up, albeit with a little scare along the way.

We wonder if Forrester and Clarke will be claiming their goal bonuses after this.
