Even the fire brigade are lining up to get their kick in at Stuart Lancaster’s men.
England were banished to play out their final World Cup game with no meaning to it and with a flat enough crowd watching on in Manchester for the host nation’s last involvement.
And, although it has been a routine enough outing against Uruguay, the London Fire Brigade used England’s miseries and the gloom around the country to promote their own safety awareness message.
Good craic and good sense.
