The Merseyside Derby is the longest running top-flight derby in England.
Anfield and Goodison Park are also the closest to stadiums in the Premier League, with only the famous Stanley Park dividing them. Needless to say, it’s one of the biggest rivalries in football.
Which is why this fail from the Everton’s online store is so bad. The grey ‘Royal Crowd’ shirt seemed perfectly fine on first glance – a shot of fans celebrating, with the Everton badge over it.
But then an eagle-eyed fan noticed it was actually a photo of Liverpool’s Kop end. Oops.

The shirt has now unsurprisingly been removed from Everton’s website.
