Dejan Lovren is something of a cult hero at Anfield. Or at least something that sounds a lot like ‘cult’…
His mazy dribbles out of defence and impenetrable defending make him the first name on the teamsheet for most fans…on the unused sub list.
So Liverpool fans everywhere will be thrilled to know that the D.Lovren quota at the club could be about to increase by 100% with the edition of a younger model for future generations to enjoy.
That’s right – the Merseyside club are reportedly keeping tabs on Dejan’s junior sibling Davor, who is nine years his more ‘celebrated’ brother’s junior at the tender age of 17…

But the Anfield faithful will be disappointed/relieved to know that Davor Lovren is not a commanding central defender in Dejan’s image, but rather a left-footed winger who can play on either flank.
Here’s footage of Lovren Junior ‘megging Lovren senior a few years ago…which doesn’t tell us much to be fair.
