We’re struggling to believe this is the same Radamel Falcao who struggled so badly at both Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Monaco frontman scored his first hat-trick since way back in 2012, adding to a Djibril Sidibé opener as Leonardo Jardim’s side moved top of Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory at Bordeaux.
Following a double in the 5-0 win over Bastia last weekend, Falcao already has as many goals this month as he managed for United and Chelsea combined during his two seasons on loan in England.
It wasn’t the most impressive treble he’ll ever score – the first two goals came from a combined 10 yards or so before he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot – but they all count.

He now has 12 goals in all competitions this season and Monaco have a phenomenal 53 from 17 Ligue 1 games.
His team are also through to the knockout stages of the Champions League after topping a group containing Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham Hotspur and CSKA Moscow, and could be drawn against Manchester City in the last 16.
And the Colombian’s former Man Utd teammate David de Gea led the praise after another remarkable goalscoring display from El Tigre.
