The adidas video accompanying the launch of AC Milan’s new third kit is pretty creative.
However, fans of the sleeping giants (and those of their rivals) have seen through the glitz and made a cutting observation.
Here’s the video – can you work out what’s missing?
The pride of their city. @ACMilan never follows. #FirstNeverFollowshttps://t.co/PcVpyUHlsI

Milan have paid money for just one player this summer – new striker Gianluca Lapadula – and could be about to let Carlos Bacca become the latest man to leave the San Siro just one year on from his big-money move from Sevilla.
And, judging by the reception Riccardo Montolivo got when Milan shared a team photo, a new midfielder might be required too.

Fans pining for the club’s glory days are none too happy after seeing the Rossoneri finish outside the top six for three straight seasons, and they remain unconvinced that a new kit alone will solve all their problems.
The kit itself, by the way, represents the green part of the Italian tricolore flag. The away kit for 2016-17 is white, to complement the recognisable red and black stripes of home strip.

We suppose it is *technically* green. Might have been a bad idea to stand in front of a backdrop that shows how far they’re pushing the definition, though.
