Is this a glitch or the biggest MMA news of the year?
While everybody was staring at Georges St-Pierre waiting for the welterweight’s return to the Octagon, the addition of a different former champion to the active fighters list took everybody by surprise.
Late on Friday night, reliable automated system @UFCFIGHTERSiNFO unexpectedly revealed that a heavyweight by the name of Brock Lesnar had been introduced to the roster.

The account uses a script which automatically adds and deletes fighters as they are signed/cut by the promotion and glitches rarely, if ever, take place.
But all logic would point to this being a computer error rather than an actual comeback for the former UFC heavyweight champion who has not competed since 2011 after his struggles with diverticulitis became too difficult to fight through.
Lesnar is currently signed to the WWE and it’s unlikely that the UFC would be able to prise him away from Vince McMahon’s clutches but that didn’t stop fight fans from getting excited.
