Floyd Mayweather is definitely on Conor McGregor’s case this week.
Fresh after labelling McGregor ‘a punk’ and claiming he would ‘f**k him up’, Mayweather Jr. has added to his tirade against the Irish MMA star.

It’s no secret that there is no love lost between the pair, with both athletes using social media to trade verbal blows over the past 12 months.
It’s obvious that Mayweather and McGregor are both doing this to further self-promote themselves and also to advertise a potential super-fight.
This super-fight took another step to taking place with the news that McGregor was granted a boxing licence with the California State Athletic Commission.
Mayweather’s latest jibe came in the form of a caption competition he held on his Instagram page.
The retired five-division world champion uploaded a clip of McGregor’s ill-fated loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. The clip had the following message:Â “CAPTION THIS! Best caption wins $10,000.00. The winner will be announced on Monday, Dec 19. Stay tuned.”
McGregor is currently taking the high road and has yet to respond to Mayweather’s remarks, but we can’t imagine that will last much longer.
It would take a man of serious restraint to refrain from having a pop back.
