Floyd Mayweather to charge fans an obscene amount to meet him on tour of UK

No thanks, Floyd

JOE

Floyd Mayweather Jr may have made $300m last year, but fans will still have to pay for the privilege of being in his company.

The retired, former five-weight world champion will undertake a two week tour of the England, Scotland and Wales next month, and those who wish to attend will be charged between £45 and £2,000 to be in his presence.

Former boxer, and Sky Sports presenter, Johnny Nelson will host all the events, with the exception of the London show, which will be hosted by TV presenter Jonathan Ross.

Tickets for the first two nights of the tour, in Cardiff and Bristol, will cost £45, but if you want a photograph with the 38-year-old it will cost £200.Floyd Mayweather Jr. v Andre Berto - Post-Fight News ConferenceThe tickets for the show in Glasgow cost £200 while it’s £300 for a ticket at the London show. The Manchester event will cost an eye-watering £600 to attend and £1,000 for a photograph with Mayweather.

If you have £2,000 to spare you can also purchase the “platinum” option, and receive an extended meet-and-greet with the boxer in a hospitality suite at Old Trafford.

Or you know, you could just learn how to use photoshop.
