Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan is well-known as one of the biggest characters in football.
He has been behind some unpopular decisions, most notably changing the club’s home kit from blue to red.
But he’s also done some popular things, like changing the kit back from red to blue.
Among all the controversy, we have seen some bizarre moves.
Tan famously told the team they just needed to shoot more, and now former caretaker boss Danny Gabbidon has revealed it went even further than that.
Vincent Tan told @Gabbidon35 he wants Cardiff to score from halfway line. #FootballisEasy Tonight 6pm SS1 #bluebirdshttps://t.co/Et29VZ5DdJ

Gabbidon claimed that, having seen Mark Hudson score from the halfway line against Derby County, Tan recommended Bluebirds defenders attempt to repeat the trick.
Football isn’t that straightforward, Vincent. Don’t you think everyone would be trying it otherwise.
