As footballers’ career changes go, Tim Wiese’s is among the most striking.
The German international, who played for his country against England back in 2008, looks completely different after spending the recent past preparing to break into professional wrestling.
And Wiese, now 34, is poised to make his move over from sports to sports entertainment when the WWE heads to Munich on November 3.
Wiese will join Sheamus and Cesaro in a tag team trio against the Shining Stars and Bo Dallas, and has laid out his plan of action for the night in question.

“My game plan against the Shining Stars will basically be to go full throttle, beat them down out of the ring,”the former Werder Bremen number one told The Guardian.
“And seeing as they weigh 30-40lbs less than I do, I will grab them, one with the left hand, one with the right, and end them. I’ll drop kick Bo Dallas and throw him off the stage.”
Wiese has already demonstrated he’s capable of the physical transformation needed to break into the world of wrestling.

And now he’s showing that he can talk a good game too, telling the paper “I’ve got trash-talking in my blood”.
