It’s fair to say Gareth Bale isn’t as well-liked as he’d hope at the Santiago Bernabeu.
After a positive start to his Real Madrid career, it looks like the Welshman has found himself firmly out of favour with the club’s fans.
The former Spurs winger is frequently booed by his own supporters and can’t seem to put a foot right.
Madrid paper Marca held a recent poll asking readers which players would make their ideal starting XI. The results are in and it doesn’t make pleasant reading for Bale.
The fans opted for an attacking trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco and James Rodriguez supporting target man Karim Benzema, with Bale being left out completely.

Well, if Madrid don’t want him, he’s been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United all summer.
With that in mind, don’t be surprised if you see Bale in a Chelsea or Man City shirt sometime soon.
