Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has been named as the new head coach of Spanish club Valencia for the rest of the season.
Neville is expected to continue his work as an assistant coach with the English national team, but he will leave his role as a regular pundit for Sky Sports.

It was rumoured that Neville might take over at Championship club Fulham after bookies slashed the odds for the Englishmen, but instead he has decided to go abroad for his first head coaching job.
His brother Phil had taken the reigns at Valencia on a temporary basis, and will continue to work with the club now that Gary has taken over.
Valenca currently sit in ninth place in La Liga with 19 points after 13 games – 14 shy of league-leaders Barcelona, who Valencia face on Saturday.
Neville will take over on Sunday, which means his first match will be Valencia’s final Champions League group game against Lyon, where the Spanish side currently trail Belgian club Gent by one point for the final qualification spot.
