Make that 3-0.
Aaron Chalmers has gone from a reality TV star whose first foray into combat sports was written off as no more than a publicity stunt to a professional fighter with three wins in a little over six months.
Chalmers took to the BAMMA cage in his native Newcastle on Friday night and didn’t let the occasion get to him as he moved to 3-0 with a first-round TKO victory over opponent Karl Donaldson.
Credit to the Geordie Shore star, he did not back down from the early fire thrown by Donaldson as Chalmers was content to stand toe-to-toe with the MMA debutant whose background was in amateur boxing.
Chalmers claimed his third consecutive first-round finish by pouncing after catching Donaldson with a right hand and chasing him to the mat.

Relentless, but poised, Chalmers’ ground and pound forced referee Daniel Movahedi to jump in and bring a halt to proceedings after less than a minute of action.
The 30-year-old made his professional debut in May, when he shocked many with his grappling knowledge as he drew the tap from opponent Greg Jenkins with an Americana in the first round.
Chalmers’ second outing lasted significantly shorter as Alex Thompson was put away in 30 seconds via a knockout punch from ‘The Joker’.
Love it or hate it, Chalmers can definitely fight.
