It looks like Shay Given’s spot for the FA Cup final is safe after his Aston Villa rival Brad Guzan was guilty of one of the worst howlers ever seen on Saturday.
They say you should never pass the ball square across your own box, let alone when one of the best strikers in the world – Sergio Aguero – is looming.
There was some speculation that the ball bobbled as Guzan tried to kick it out, but…no. There’s no excuse.
