The Nature Boy is on the mend.
Following the recent news that iconic wrestler Ric Flair required surgery after being placed in a medically induced coma, there’s some good news to report because he’s ‘awake, communicating and progressing.’
Speaking with TMZ Sports, a WWE representative has said that the two-time WWE Hall of Famer is making positive strides toward recovery.
Legacy Talent CEO Melinda Morris Zanoni, Flair’s representative, has said that there are still “complications” following the surgery and that the 16-time world heavyweight champion requires some rest.

In what’s a very good sign, it’s clear that The Nature Boy hasn’t lost any of his beloved sense of humour and his nurse can testify to that.
After all, he’ll always be a stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ n’ dealin’ son of a gun. Woooooo!
He did cut a promo on a nurse yesterday so anyone that knows @RicFlairNatrBoy knows that's a very, very good sign 😉

Melinda also thanked fans for the outpouring of prayers, support and well wishes during this difficult period.
Much like everyone else that was moved by the news of Flair’s ill-health, we wish him the very best with his recovery.
On behalf of @RicFlairNatrBoy THANK YOU 4 the outpouring of prayers & well wishes (altho the offers 4 a kidney seemed a little excessive 🙂
