Last night’s Major League Soccer game between Sporting Kansas City and the Colorado Rapids was subject to an unusual interruption.
With the visitors preparing to take a free-kick at the start of the second half, the entire stadium sprinkler system was activated, giving the players, and the pitch, an unwanted soaking.
