Harry Kane has a better international strike rate than Messi and Ronaldo

Tom Victor

When the time comes to pick the England squad for Euro 2016, few would dispute Harry Kane’s inclusion.

The Spurs striker only made his international debut earlier this year, but – injuries permitting – it is hard to imagine him missing out on a spot on the plane.

And the infographic below from bwin shows how impressive his start to international life has been.

Sure, he’s only played six times for his country, but the 22-year-old has a better goals per game ratio than Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kane will start for England against Spain, with Wayne Rooney dropping to the bench, and he will look to keep up his record of a goal every other game at international level.
