With a couple of years of first-team football under his belt, some have tipped Jordan Larsson to leave Helsingborgs in the future.
For a brief period last summer, there was even a suggestion that he might follow in the footsteps of his old man (Celtic legend Henrik) by moving to Glasgow. However, a brief flurry of social media speculation claiming he might move to *Rangers* was swiftly dismissed by the 19-year-old – who responded to a tweet from Talking Baws.
@RangersFC me? Signing for Them??? Are u having a laugh?😂😂😂 #getouttahere

Months on from this, Henrik has also made it perfectly clear that his son will never represent Rangers on the opposite side of the Old Firm divide.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, the former Celtic, Barcelona and Manchester United striker was asked how he would react if his son were to make such a move.
“He would never do that,” Larsson said.
Later asked if his son might sign for Celtic at some point in the future, he added: “It’s up to him what he wants to do. If he’s good enough, he will get the chance.
“He’s promising, for sure, but there’s more pressure on him than on any other 19-year-old here in Sweden.
“In the first part of this season he was fantastic, but when things don’t go so well, he gets a little too much stick because he’s my son. But he’s strong enough to handle things.”
