Hannover 96’s Bundesliga victory at FC Koln on Sunday was shrouded in controversy after the winning goal came courtesy of a blatant handball.
As a first-half corner deflected towards the back post, Hannover midfielder Leon Andreasen clearly used his arm to touch the ball into the net.

Despite the protests of the home side, referee Sebastian Dankert awarded the goal – which proved to be the only strike in Hannover’s 1-0 win.
