The Irish FA has received news of its ticket allocation for the Euro 2016 playoff in Bosnia, and it’s not good.
Bosnia and Herzegovina have been playing home qualifiers at the 15,600-capacity Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica, leaving Irish fans fearing less than 800 tickets could be made available.
Well it’s not quite as bad as that, but it’s close.
The FAI have received 880 tickets for the away leg of the play-off with Bosnia. Said there were 1,175 applications.

It’s bad news for the 300 or so who will miss out, but one wouldn’t be surprised if some ticketless fans descend on Zenica
Even if they have no chance of getting into the ground at the very least they’ll look to soak up some of the atmosphere in the bars nearby.
In addition to diminished away support, here’s what else Ireland can expect from their opponents.
