Jamie Carragher is clearly happy with Liverpool’s appointment of Jurgen Klopp, and has hinted he could end up working very closely with the new boss.
The former club captain got Liverpool fans’ hopes up with a cryptic tweet which had some thinking he could be joining the German’s coaching staff at Anfield.
Great appointment from Lfc in getting Jurgen Klopp to Anfield. Can't wait to start working with him.

Carragher has been touted for a coaching role at Liverpool in the past, in much the same way as Ryan Giggs continues to work with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
Former England striker Ian Wright has suggested Carragher would be the “perfect” link between Liverpool new and old, but it seems fans anticipating a return for the 37-year-old were wide of the mark.
Carragher was just excited about welcoming the former Dortmund boss into Sky’s studio for Monday Night Football.
MNF of course! He looks the type who will come live into the studio!! https://t.co/UYoNiOmoXP
