Let’s not bother talking about how good Harry Kane’s opening goal was against Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Nah, who gives a shit about goals when we can spend our time talking and writing about *really* important stuff like fancy celebrations?
Within seconds of pinging home the first goal of the afternoon beyond the reaches of Joel Robles, Kane followed it with a special celebratory handshake with special friend, Dele Alli (aww). Look, we even wrote an entire article about it – don’t ever accuse of not brining you the sports stories that matter.
Later on, with the first 45 minutes’ key events being dissected by the Sky Sports Super Sunday team, the celebration was touched on by Jamie Redknapp. Actually, it was more than ‘touched on’. Not content with just giving it a passing comment, Redknapp went and attempted to recreate it… with Graeme Souness.
Graeme.
Souness.
Not only did he attempt it, he also got a response.
That really did happen, didn't it? pic.twitter.com/on1eNDvRHt

Having presumably agreed to have a stab at it during the break, Redknapp congratulated Souness on a great half-time. Sure, Souness made a bit of a mess of things, but the fact that he even tried it makes this worthy, in our eyes at least, of another handshake-related article.
The reaction was mixed…
Think I'm gonna need a drink to recover from what Redknapp and Souness just did.

Souness and Redknapp handshake at H/T on @SkySportsNewsHQ …. and that's why Roy Keane is at ITV
