Jesus Navas is back at Sevilla, and to celebrate they have released the most bizarre transfer announcement video yet.
The transfer announcement video genre that no-one asked for has offered some mixed results this summer, from the terrible to the not so terrible. But Sevilla have managed to out do them all.
In the video, Navas, who was a free-agent after spending the last four years with Manchester City, gets kidnapped. Two men with plastic bags over their faces follow the Spanish winger, snatch him off the street, put him in the boot of a car and drive him to Sevilla’s stadium.
You can watch the full video here:
It’s an original idea, but we reckon they probably didn’t need to kidnap Navas to sign him, especially considering he went over 100 games in the Premier League without scoring.
Congratulations to Jesus Navas, who on Sunday brought up 100 PL games since his last goal. Quite an achievement.

The Spanish winger spent 10 years with Sevilla before joining City, and he’s a fan favourite at the club, so it’s no surprise to see him return.
Navas has signed a four-year deal at the club.
