Ilkay Gundogone to Manchester United?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 24 hours, you’ll know that Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester United was big news last night.

Reports emanating from Germany that a deal was already in place broke the internet in a way that Kim Kardashian could only dream of.

The Mail report that a deal is indeed in place and that a transfer to the value of £20.5m is all but done and dusted.

Depay meeting Liverpool behind United’s back?

There’s lot of things that PSV Eindhoven’s Memphis Depay is able to do – score goals, assist teammates, slalom past defenders…

But one thing he can’t do for toffee is keep a secret. Just hours after holding ‘secret’ talks with Manchester United, he’s at it again.

The Mirror report that the Dutch international made a sneaky detour to speak to Liverpool. That’s fine – but it’s not a secret if everyone knows…

Koeman won’t consider being a Nou-man…

The Telegraph report that one Dutchman who’s going nowhere is Southampton’s Ronald Koeman – even if Barcelona came a-knocking…

Koeman knows that the Saints have been hurt before and wants to them to understand that he won’t break their hearts like the last man.

It’s all well and good him saying that, but it’s hard to trust someone after having your heart broken – especially if a sexy Catalan ex is waiting in the wings…
