Louis van Gaal chose to respond to a week of speculation about his future by demanding an apology from reporters during his Wednesday press conference.
The Manchester United manager was unhappy with reports that had suggested he was on the brink of being sacked and criticised the press for not being entirely truthful.
Hearing this, former Celtic striker John Hartson saw the funny side.
Taking to his Twitter account, Hartson demanded why the press had regularly rated his performances on the field at fours and fives out of ten, joking they were at least worthy of a six.
LVG wants an apology off the press..Where's my apology after years of 4's and 5's out of 10 The press gave me!! I was always at least a 6! 👎
