Jon Jones is sticking to his new regimen.
Having put on significant muscle mass after an entirely fresh approach to training earlier this year, ‘Bones’ came in for plenty of abuse online.
Some felt that his added size hindered him in his UFC 197 comeback victory over Ovince Saint Preux in April, while others jumped on accusations of performance-enhancing drug abuse.
At the time of writing, Jones still awaits the results of an arbitration hearing with the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the organisation who notified the UFC to the fact that the former long-time light heavyweight champion had tested positive for a banned substance on the week of UFC 200.
Jones was pulled from his scheduled title unification rematch against Daniel Cormier in July and has been preparing his appeal ever since.

He meets with Usada on Monday while he will sit before the Nevada State Athletic Commission next week so Jones’ fighting future is expected to be decided in the next ten days.
In the meantime, he’s working hard in the gym and clearly hasn’t abandoned his new system as he’s back to his deadlifting best, documenting a monster 500lbs lift this week before urging his legion of trolls to continue their crusade against him.
