He’s back.
This was one of the most anticipated fights in UFC history.
There’s a lot of bad blood between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, and in the early hours of Sunday morning, the two entered the Octagon to settle their differences. It was exhilarating.
Many had the scores tied a 19-19 after two rounds, with Cormier receiving kudos for his patience in picking out strikes. But in the third round, Jon Jones settled any debate as to who is the better of the two fighters.
A sick kick to the head virtually ended the fight as a contest as Jones mercilessly finished Cormier to regain his title that he was stripped of back in April 2015.
This is the second time that Jones has beaten his arch rival in the octagon.
