Watch Jose Aldo round on Conor McGregor fans after social media abuse

He's had enough

Jose Aldo is well aware he was knocked out by Conor McGregor after 13 seconds of their UFC featherweight title bout last December.

Still, many fans are only happy to remind him.

The former featherweight kingpin can claim an interim version of the belt he lost at UFC 194 when he fights Frankie Edgar in July, at UFC 200.

Most questions for Aldo, however, still revolve around McGregor and when he is going to avenge his stunning loss.

At a Q&A before the UFC 198 weigh-ins, Aldo took another pop at McGregor and vowed to right some wrongs when the pair next meet.

Aldo was put forward for another media scrum after that event and, this time, took aim at the online trolls that harangue him on social media. He said:

“F***ing hell, that’s a pain in the ass. F*** brother, that’s a pain in the ass.

“But it’s normal right? I don’t know why they haven’t forgotten me yet. Whenever I post anything and with whoever, they go to my friends’ [account] and call names.”

Aldo is well aware that the only way he can silence the mockers is to take McGregor down in the octagon.

He insists that, even if McGregor is done with the featherweight division, he will step up a weight class to get to ‘The Notorious’.
