You be you.
It’s one of the best pieces of advice you can give to anyone. People spend their whole lives trying to be someone else, or trying to impress others. When in truth, all you can do is be yourself – because no one will do that better than you.
Jose Mourinho has always been Jose Mourinho. Love him or loathe him, it matters not. He will always resolutely remain true to himself. Of course it rubs some people up the wrong way, but you get the sense that’s the way he likes it.
This weekend, the Manchester United manager surprised everyone by very kindly announcing that he’d be PLAYING in a charity game for those affected by the Grenfell tower fire tragedy. He confirmed he’d be part of Alan Shearer’s team.
That's actually a big compliment, Al https://t.co/ZfvXxmwU44

Despite announcing his appearance as an actual player, many assumed it was a bit of a joke, or that he’d play for a few seconds at the end of the game. But no, true to his word the Portuguese entered the field for the final half hour.
Perhaps understandably, considering his relative age and preference for the defensive side of the game, Jose came on as a goalkeeper. No doubt intent on keeping a personal cleansheet, with or without the help of a parked bus.
The moment Jose Mourinho came on as goalkeeper! What a gentleman giving up his Saturday off to play at #Game4Grenfell 👏 👏 pic.twitter.com/GYhgEFQQW7

But Jose being Jose, he wasn’t going to play it totally for laughs, even for a charity game. Within thirty seconds, the international hero to villainy was booked. For time-wasting. In a friendly game. For charity. Pure unadulterated Mourinho.
Fair play, everyone saw the funny side – and even applauded his dedication to his dastardly persona…
Mourinho has been booked for time wasting in a charity match hahahah actually applaud that unwavering level of bastardry
