Even Justin knows it’s coming home
The wave of optimism borne from England’s World Cup run is spreading through the country at full throttle. Even those who are not usually into football are suddenly on the hype, waistcoat sales are through the roof, people are booking Monday 16th off work. The country has lost the plot and it’s wonderful.
Even Americans are jumping on the wave, as shown by Justin Timberlake last night at his concert at the O2 arena, when he belted out “It’s… coming… home!” to huge cheers.

Shockingly, he didn’t manage to nail the melody – maybe he’s not heard the song – but the sentiment is appreciated all the same.
He followed it up by shouting words of encouragement to Harry Kane and Harry Maguire in an English accent.
Welcome aboard, Justin. Join us on this emotional rollercoaster for football is indeed coming home.
England’s semi-final against Croatia will be shown at the O2 before Timberlake takes the stage on Wednesday night.
.@jtimberlake to the rescue. The @England v Croatia match will be shown live in the arena tomorrow before he takes to the stage 🙌 #ThreeLions #WorldCup #ITSCOMINGHOME pic.twitter.com/9By5voFeq3
