Kimbo Slice is probably the world’s most famous street fighter.
The 42-year-oldĀ made his name knocking people out for fun in back yard brawls which went viral on YouTube.
The hammer-fisted heavyweightĀ then took his game inside the cage and has become a relatively big name in MMA.
Nearly 3 millionĀ people tuned in to see his fight against Dada 5000 at Bellator 149 (although the fight ended controversially with his opponent hospitalised after his heart stopped).
But it turns out Kimbo’s son Kevin Ferguson Jr has now followed his old man into the fight game.
‘Baby Slice’ made his MMA debut against Tom BrinksĀ on theĀ Warrior Nation: XFA XII show, according to MMA Fighting.
HeĀ didn’t disappoint either. Slice Jr, who was fighting at 175lbs, finished the fight with his fists after just 1:23 of the first round, scoring a TKO over Brinks with his superior stand-up.
Kimbo wasn’t there to see his son’s first ever MMA victory. But his son’s managerĀ Mike Imber said “he’s got a bright future.”
All eyes will no doubt be on the 23-year-old Slice to see if he can really make it big in the game. Check out the photos here.Ā
This weekend I also got to see Kevin Ferguson Jr. on the MMA circuit that was pretty cool for me personally. Way back in…
