Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher is said to have collapsed in a corridor after 18 minutes of her shift on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old, who had been presenting alongside Jim White, was taken to hospital as a result.
Although she’s since confirmed via Twitter that this was down to a virus, it didn’t stop some from speculating that she was suffering as a result of the night out she’d tweeted about on Monday.
Great night with my lovely team @lucyb25 @MCSaatchiMerlin @SoapBoxLondon … just missing @rich_thomo 😘 pic.twitter.com/R0xKZ54IoK

Viewers had pointed out that she’d become tongue-tied when discussing an upcoming interview with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, and she failed to reappear following in an ad break.
AÂ spokesperson for the presenter has now told The Sun that this had nothing to do with alcohol: “She categorically was not drunk. Blood and urine tests at hospital showed no alcohol in her system.
“She was just feeling terrible on her way to work. Doctors think it’s extreme exhaustion mixed with a viral infection. She was absolutely taken under by it.”
Tweeting on Thursday morning, Gallacher thanked her followers  for their kind messages, adding that although she hadn’t completely recovered, she was on the mend.
Thankyou for all your kind messages, feeling bit better, still not 100%. Being ill on live TV is horrid experience…..
