Tyson Fury’s heavyweight fight with Wladimir Klitschko is OFF.
The much-anticipated head-to-head has been postponed due to Klitschko suffering a calf injury in training.
It comes as a bitter blow to Fury, who was bang up for the fight, telling anyone who would listen that he was in the form of his life.
The pair were due to meet on October 24 in Dusseldorf, but the bout will now (hopefully) be moved to a later date.
Klitschko told German newspaper Bild: ‘Of course I’m sorry, for my fans but also for my opponent Tyson Fury.’
For now at least, it seems as though Fury’s Batman-themed shenanigans during this week’s press conference were all for nothing…
