Returning to his old stomping ground in Munich, Toni Kroos was spectacularly denied by Manuel Neuer as Bayern beat Real Madrid in the Audi Cup.
As his free-kick sailed over the Bayern wall, it looked like Kroos was set to mark his return with a goal.
Neuer, however, had other ideas, darting to his right to brilliantly tip the ball over the bar.

Possibly a little irritated by his former team-mate’s save as he headed for the bench later in the game, Kroos left Gareth Bale hanging as he leaned in for a high five. Ouch…
