Watermarks are back, apparently.
At the back end of last year, it was announced that Tottenham Hotspur had agreed a mega bucks new kit deal with none other than Nike. Not only is it worth an estimated £30m-a-year to the club, but they could look forward to some slick designs, yeah?
Well not according to the internet, and specifically social media, where a brand new kit being modelled by a very semi excited looking fan hasn’t gone down well at all. That’s partly because the body/sleeves block template is a bit…Arsenal, but also there’s a feint watermarked cock in the design.
In fairness, it could be a fan-designed fake, but if so, fair play. They’ve gone to the trouble of designing it, manufacturing it, ordering it, and modelling at their own expense, all in the name of ‘bantz’. But if it is an actual leaked kit, it does look a teensy bit like a training shirt or idle afterthought.
Judge for yourself…
